The Avocado tree is native to Mexico and Central America but is grown tropically all over the world. The flesh of the avocado is about 30% fat and of that, about 67% is oleic acid, with palmitic acid and linoleic acid also largely present.
Avocados are rich in vitamins C, E, K and the B vitamins. These nutrients aid in hydration and in the reduction of wrinkles. Plus, avocado oil is said to be better than most oils at penetrating the epidermis and reaching the dermis, where it supports collagen production and takes hydration to a much deeper level.
